Moo.Fx, A Super Lightweight Javascript Effects Library
Description
moo.fx is an extremely small javascript effects library, written on top of prototype ’s Object.extend and Class.create. It’s easy to use, fast, cross-browser and standards compliant. And, its extremely small footprint makes moo.fx a must-have library for all of you wanting a blazing fast web2.0 style Website.
Its main purpose is to provide automated functions to modify height, width, and opacity of any HTML element object (all in real time) displaying an effect with the transition type you choose.
Browsers compatibility
moo.fx has been successfully tested, and works perfectly with the following browsers: Safari 2, Camino, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer 6. It doesnt support previous versions of ie, and older versions of Opera dont support Opacity.
moo.fx.pack
With moo.fx’s extension, moo.fx.pack, you can have any combination of the three basic modifiers, plus you’ll have the ability to create accordions with the chosen elements of your page. moo.fx.pack also contains text-size modifiers, cookies function to remember effects state and a page-scrolling effect.
Extendibility
Thanks to prototype ’s Class.create and Object.extend, you can easily code your own ‘effect’ with the CSS property you intend to modify (the position of the object, for instance, the margin or the color).
